Refreshing Service!

You know how it always happens the warranty runs out on an appliance and the manufacturer wants nothing to do with you. Well this story is different.

I have been using Service Foods  for almost 6 years. And have a freezer that was supplied by them, well last week it broke – and we lost all of our food

I got on the phone and called Service Foods literally to find out if they used a specific service company to fix their freezers – Mike there said “Don’t worry I’ll send someone out for you to take a look” “In the meantime, one of the delivery guys will come and collect the meat and we will replace it, when the freezer is fixed”.

Just before the guy arrives Mike calls and says “Don’t let them repair it without calling me first” The repair guy says that it is going to cost $850 ish, and that he wouldn’t recommend fixing it.

My shoulders sunk and I thought oh no there goes another big chunk of cash. Well I call Mike and imagine my surprise when he says “Don’t worry – I’ll talk to my Manager on Monday and see if we can send you out another freezer” and which point I’m wondering how much that will cost.

Well low and behold on Monday morning I get a call saying that the following day between 11 and 3 a guy will be delivering my new freezer and replacement food. What an amazing day.

Now not only will I be recommending them for their excellent meats, but for the outstanding service.
